In order to comply with the law with regard to the sale of edged weapons and deactivated firearms please tick the box to confirm that you are over 18 years old, we will also carry out a search on the Electoral Register for your area to double check this and may require scans of identity documents, this will definitely apply to any sale of bladed items.

In accordance withe Offensive Weapons Act, all non-face to face transactions of bladed items and weapons must be sent to a business address and received by a person of 18 years of age or more. Accordingly in order to comply with this legislation we use a courier system with Parcelforce where the person signing for the package, if not obviously more than age 21 or more, must provide proof to the deliverer that they are over 18. We will also require a scan of some other means of identiifcation showing your name, address  and date of birth, such as a UK photo driving licence.

In accordance withe Offensive Weapons Act, we will check against the electoral roll for your name and address however before processing the transaction we require the buyer to send us a scan of suitable ID such as a photo driving licence which shows: 

1. Full Name of the buyer-the name of the person paying must match the buyers name, i.e. the buyers name must match the name on any payment method.
2. The billing address , 
3. Date of birth
4. Photo
