Colt 1908 Hammerless .380ACP, overall good condition retaining most finish, Holster wear at muzzle and edges, with a few tiny marks here and there commensurate with use, original grips with Colt and rearing horse motif, moving slide, trigger and safety.

Interestingly this pistol is marked to the left in front of the grip, 'Pargiter 27 Cav'. The 27 Cavalry Regiment was an African-American unit formed as part of the 2nd Cavalry Division in 1943, it was disbanded in 1944 in Algeria two weeks after arrival without seeing combat. It's soldiers were offered the choice of serving with support units or combat units. It would be interesting to know who 'Pargiter' was.

Comes with 2018 standard deactivation certificate, photo shows actual item that will be sent.
