The CZ ZK383 was manufactured from 1938 at Brno in Czechoslovakia. Many were supplied to overseas contracts, including this example which supplied to Venezuela and has their markings and crest on top of the receiver. After the occupation of Czechoslovakia the ZK-383 continued to be manufactured for the German army, the majority being sent to the Waffen-SS. Production continuyed after WW2 until 1948.
ZK383's rarely seem to come up for sale.This example is in overall good condition, retaining most blueing, there are a few dinbks/dents to the woodwork commensuarate with long use. During the original 1st deactivation the barrel was replaced with a dummy Cocking handle moves on half bolt, safety and fire selectors move, trigger non moving due to how the 2018 spec affected this particular SMG.
