As of 12th December 2019 In order to comply with the Firearms Regulations 2019 with regard to the sale of deactivated firearms, please tick the box to confirm that you accept and understand that The Gunner's Store Ltd will notify the Home Office of the details of the item sale (transfer) and the name and address of the purchaser, that this information must be held by them until 30 years after destruction of the firearm or other relevant item (we will also keep a copy in order to prove we have complied and will retain this permanently in paper and electronic formats).

You must notify the Secretary of State before or as soon as practical after of the transfer (that includes sale or gifting) of a deactivated weapon from you to someone else

We will also notify the Secretary of State regarding the sale of any deactivated item where the legal position regarding notification is unclear or uncertain, in which case we will err on the side of caution and notify. This will include but is not necessarily limited to) spare MG barrels which are deactivated to the EU compliant current specification 2018.

We will retain a copy of this information in the event of a query by an appropriate authority and/or to prove that we have notified as required.
