Clinometer, 1943 dated, idea came about in WW1 to set elevations on the gun for indirect fire. By WW2 it was used to check the Dial Sight for correct calibration and as an emergency method of setting. Part Number OS331GA. The Mk2 version replaced the Mk1 which had been made using artillery clinometers. In extremely good condition with working bubble, includes leather case as shown. Photo shows the actual clinometer & case that will be sent. |
