Genuine No4 Mk1 skeleton action, converted by REME from worn out, shot out No4 rifles for training armourers in the workings of the No4 action. REME SKN serial number. Parts used were those deemed broken or worn out and no further use in live rifles so rear sights for example are often faulty as they did not feature in the 'how it works' requirement. Repainted and red lined and looks really nice. Slot for deactivation purposes in mag and barrel red-lined to appear as part of the Skeleton work. Full working action, magazine removable (bit tight, old magazine), field strips. Comes with EU Spec proof house deactivation certificate Photo shows actual item that will be despatched Note regarding the 2016 Euro+ Specification: Shotguns, Rifles and Pump Action shotguns differ little in their specification from the previous UK specification, the differences which can be noted are;Shotguns, double and single barrel-No appreciable differencePump Action Shotguns-less deactivated than previously, no crimp to tube magazine and retains spring otherwise the same. Rifles with internal magazine (e.g. Mausers)- No real difference, action still works, lower level of deactivation than previously as barrel slot is very short. Rifles with detachable magazine (e.g. Lee Enfields)-as above but a thin pin across magazine well and a slot in the magazine. Rifles-Underlever (e.g. Martini action)-No visible or operating difference to previously.
