Vickers Platoon Spares and Tools Box Mk3with contents

Mk3 box dated 1944 spares and tools kit for the Vickers Machine gun. We have had several Mk2 kits but this is the first Mk3 we have had. Virtually complete CES of spares (Muzzle cup no present), all tools present. Includes a photocopy of a Australian CES packing list (not shown) All items in near unissued or unissued condition. We have had several of these over the years and it has become clear that those using them loaded them with whatever spares they felt were necessary regardless of the CES

Leather carrying handle requires repair or replacement as it has a tear across it
