The
M26 Pershing entered service early in 1945, just early enough to see action in
WW2. The manufacturers call this the Snow Leopard, reason
unknown!
This model is again
truely outstanding, the detail is excellent, and there is minimal assembly
required. NOW IN STOCK; NEWversion with sound effects and exhaust smoke,
has to be seen and heard to be believed!!
The
extra kit, helmets, ammo boxes, crates etc. stowed on the otuside of the hull,
and the towing ropes and shackles on the rear are outstanding, it just cries
out for some detail modelling, and I might have a go at this one
myself!
After unpacking simply clip on the .50 Cal MG, fit the
Commander if required, charge the batteries, put 8 AA batteries in the remote
(batteries not included) , stick on the transfers, load in some BB's and away
you go, simplicity itself!!
This tank is available to order in the
SHOP now, delivery takes about 10 days
maximum.
Specifications: Scale 1/16th, Price
£110 (plus 4.5% if paying by credit card in the shop, included in

We only sell this item to those aged 17+ as
it does have a BB gun, and BB pellets, also as you can see the small detail is
not ideal for small fingers.

| Looks pretty good
doesn't it?The cam net is for show, not included. Note the .50 Calibre
MG on the roof |
|
 |
| The
level of detail can be seen well in this photo. The gun uses standard 6mm
BB's. The turret has a 320' traverse, so
it won't go round in a full circle, this is because of the internal
mechanisms. |
|
 |
| Most items of equipment are seperate
mouldings. The turret turns through 320 degrees and the gun elevates and
depresses. The tank can steer and slew on its tracks. The track links are
individually steel pinned and the road wheels have independant
suspension. |

 |
The Model comes with a decent remote
(the four sliders have no functions, you don't need them), rechargeable battery
and 200 6mm BB's. There are preset demonstrations
and you can make up your own. The Second turret
hatch houses a safety on and off switch for the gun and allows 'bombing up' of
the BB's. The set and tank can be set to 3 different wavelengths so you can
have 3 tanks running together. The red LED is a
warning that the gun is going to fire, but the gun can be isolated for safety
if required. |
